SANTA CANDY CONTAINER

Hello and thanks for stopping by. I created this  one of a kind folk art candy container from paper mache and paper clay. His top can be removed to store covered candy's. His cup is also made from paper mache and meticulously hand painted in lovely Christmas colors of red, green and vintage white. If your interested you can find out more info and  check him out on my EBAY

Hi Tom!
Thank you for your comments. I start by making a head shape out of aluminum foil, then an aluminum shape of the neck/container top and hot glue together. Then start adding clay. and sculpting. Instead of molding the container and dealing with fitting issues of the shoulder area and container entrance, You can use a jar and jaz it up to keep things simple. Good luck and best wishes. Penny
