MS. HILDEGARDE SPELLMAN

I'm Baaaaaaackkkkk!!!!!

Sorry I have not been posting or offering any Holiday art but I have several characters in the works. This old crone is up for sale on my Etsy. You can read her biography below.

"Ms. Hildegarde Spellman"

Hildegarde is a one of a kind  Halloween witch candy container. She is constructed of papier mache and paper clay. Her base is a recycled jar that I have thoroughly sanitized and deodorized. She has been painted in soft black, burnt orange, antique white and soft yellow.
Hildegarde has devised a wicked plan to entice the kids into her lair with candy from her container. When they reach in for a piece she snatches them up and plucks a hair from their head for her magic potion. She's not all bad and will then release the child back into the autumn night running in fear.

I have faux antiqued her with umber washes.    Hildegarde measures 9" tall by 4" across.

She will come artist signed and dated(on the bottom) with a 1/1 signifying she is a a one of a kind and will not be recreated. I have applied three coats of polyurethane for lasting years of durability.

Materials-paper mache,paper clay,glass jar, acrylic paint,polyurethane.
